"ArmHiTec 2018" Armament and Defense Technologies International the 2nd Exhibition

The "ArmHiTec 2018" Armament and Defense Technologies International Exhibition took place in Yerevan Expo Center from March 29-31.

The aim of the exhibition was to demonstrate the achievements of Armenian organizations in the field of armament and defense technologies and to become an effective link between the military, scientific and technical circles of the participating countries, as well to promote promote further international cooperation.

More than 1500m2 of the Yerevan Expo Exhibition Center were exhibited new samples of armament and military products, communication equipment, optical electronic equipment, robot technical complexes, etc.

30 Armenian and more than 30 foreign companies from 14 countries, including Russia, Italy, France, China, India, Croatia, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Bulgaria, etc. participated in the exhibition with their pavilions.

State delegations from more than 10 countries have come to participate in the exhibition and business events.

RA President Serzh Sargsyan, Armenian Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, CSTO Deputy Secretary General V. Semerikov, Chairman of the Interstate Military-Economic Cooperation Council of CSTO member states Nozdrachov, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Military-Industrial Commission Oleg Bochkarev. Minister of National Defense of Greece Panayotis Kammenos was among the honorary guests.

The exhibition was organized by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the "Yerevan Mathematical Machines Plant" and Exhibition Companies Group “BIZON” Closed Joint-Stock Companies. In addition to an extensive demonstration, within the framework of the exhibition, a rich scientific-technical project, consisting of the following sections:

  • RUSSIAN-ARMENIAN ROUND TABLE

The joint session of the Russian Military Commission on the CSTO Military-Economic (Technical) Cooperation Council and the interested ministries, departments, enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Armenia.

The second day was marked by the following sections of the scientific-practical curriculum:

  • Regular sitting of the BUSINESS COUNCIL adjunct to the Intergovernmental CSTO military-industrial cooperation committee
  • SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE OF THE MINISTRY OF DEFENSE OF RA "XXI CENTURY TECHNOLOGIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARMED FORCES"

In the final third day took place

  • MEETINGS BETWEEN THE RA MODE AND EXHIBITION PARTICIPANTS WITH COMPANIES (according to applications).
